Built in the 1950's, Goodman-Bensman's Jewish Funeral Home's convenient east side location at 4750 N. Santa Monica Boulevard in Whitefish Bay has been serving the entire Jewish community for over 50 years. The funeral home's interior and exterior have been updated to offer our families the highest level of comfort, warmth and dignity when visiting for arrangements or funeral services. We offer two chapel options depending upon the size of the service. For smaller funeral services, families are more comfortable with the single chapel option which offers friends and relatives an opportunity to pay their respects in a more intimate space. For larger funeral services, we can double the size of the chapel to accommodate over 250 people. We also have several side lounges that are available for your use. All chapel services are recorded for our families. An adjoining family room is also available.
Our bereavement resources offer families a wide variety of reference material on all aspects of Jewish funeral rites and rituals. We maintain our library as a resource for our families. Additionally, we maintain archived burial records dating back to 1927 which are an invaluable source for genealogy research or for families seeking guidance to match the service of a loved one.
Our facility is equipped with a preparation room for the Chevra Kadisha and proper refrigeration equipment. For your convenience and peace of mind, all arrangements, preparations and funerals can be conducted at one location.
