(Nee Weitzman) Of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2010, age 92.
Beloved wife of the late Henry. Loving mother of Allen (Ruth) Zacharias and Judy (Ken) Kaplan. Cherished grandma (and grams) of Connie, Teri and Josh. Great-grandma of Dannah. She is further survived by many relatives and friends. Sylvia was preceded in death by her siblings Phyllis, Lou, Sally and Irv. Also survived by dear friend Jeanne Lotz.
Sylvia was a happy, compassionate person who adored her family. She became the matriarch of her family, to whom her children and nieces and nephews turned for her plentiful advice, support and love. All fondly remember her wit, teasing, cooking and many sayings of wisdom. She loved to knit afghans for her family and friends. Sylvia volunteered her time to benefit her community. Sylvia will be missed by everyone who knew her.
