Merry B. Atinsky

(Nee Sosnay) Passed away on July 8th, 2019 at the age of 75.

Beloved wife of Dr. Jordan Atinsky. Loving mother of Lisa (Neta) Zmora of Zurmoshe, Israel and Bryan (Miriam) Atinsky of Milwaukee. Proud grandmother of Aviv and Roii Zmora. Dear sister of Vicki Sosnay and Richard (Luanne) Sosnay. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, friends and her dog, Bella. Preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Yetta Sosnay; daughter-in-law, Efrat; and cherished grandchildren, Noam and Ya’ari Atinsky. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Froedtert Hospital for the loving care given to Merry.

Funeral service, Thursday, July 11th at 11:00 AM at Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid, 6880 N. Green Bay Ave., Glendale. Burial to follow at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery, 134 S. Dana Ct., Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions appreciated to Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid.

    My sincere condolences to the family. Merry was an amazing lady. From her volunteerism to her vivacious personality, she was a true role model and mensch, and will surely be missed. May her memory be a blessing.

    My deepest sympathies to the family at this difficult time. Merry was deeply loved by so many people, due to the kindness in her heart. She always made me (and so many others) feel we were family. She was with me every minute through one of my most difficult times imaginable…I love you, Merry. May you rest in peace.

    My condolences to the entire Atinsky family. She was a doll. Most memorable to me, she cooked for my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah party and was so excited when we gave her a t shirt!! I will always remember Merry well…

    While I only knew her for a very short time, I was very saddened to hear of Merry’s passing. Such a wonderful lady. Thoughts and prayers to the family during this difficult time.
