Thelma (Toby) Rae Forbes

(Nee Raznick) Formerly of Omaha, NE. Born December 25, 1938, Toby passed away after a long illness in Milwaukee, WI on September 4, 2020. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Marshall Forbes, and 4 adult children, Jody (Dennis) Knox; Barbara (Jon) Forbes-Lyons; Joel Forbes and Shari (Joel) Berman. Together, they blessed Toby and Marshall with 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Toby is also survived by a sister, Shirley Schwartz, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Toby spent her working career in Jewish community work starting at the JCC in Omaha at the Jewish Federation of Omaha as the secretary to the executive director and then as the office manager for the Omaha Federation. Upon moving to Milwaukee, she continued her work with the Jewish community at the JCC. She finished her career at the Milwaukee Friends of Hebrew University.

Services are private but may be accessed via Zoom on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 11:30am CST.
