Milwaukee – Steven O’Connor, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday August 28th. Loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was born December 6, 1967 in Green Bay, WI to Lawrence and Patsy O’Connor. He attended Southwest High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Steve stayed in Milwaukee after college, started a business and resided in Whitefish Bay. He married Aimee Speed on November 24, 2007. Steve, an entrepreneur, built a local landscaping business and enjoyed his many customers and co-workers.

Passed away August 15, 2019 at the age of 70. Born on May 31, 1949 in Chicago, IL, he spent his formative years growing up in South Haven, MI splitting time between his parents’ house in the city and moving to their resort in the country each summer. After 16 years of small town living, the family relocated to Chicago where Sam attended Austin High School. He dropped out after three years, obtained his GED, and joined the Navy, serving most of his time in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. During his stint in the Navy, he married his high school sweetheart, Linda Sue Roedersheimer, in Halifax, NC in 1968. Sam also enlisted in the Army in 1975, but was discharged due to a medical disability.
