A lifelong resident of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on the early morning of Sunday, January 27th, 2019 at the age of 78. Dr. Bodner was a practicing OBGYN for more than 40 years, delivering generations of babies throughout the community. He served as President of Congregation Beth Israel amongst many other community leadership involvements. Aaron’s biggest passion was his family. He married his best friend from childhood, Marilyn, 53 years ago. Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, Esther and Benjamin, and brother, Jerry Bodner. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn Bodner, and his children, Matthew, Bradley (Stacy), Tammie, Darren, and Elianna (Cory). Loving grandfather of Koby, Ari, Danielle, Benjamin, Abigail, Lexi, Hannah, Madeline, and Jax.

Originally from Manitowoc. Died on Jan. 23, 2019 in Milwaukee at the age of 95. For the past several years, he resided at Chai Point Senior Residence with his wife, Bess (nee Luffman). He was born Nov. 22, 1923, the son of Abraham and Martha Schwartz and the youngest of eight children, who all preceded him in death. He spent his career at WI Aluminum Foundry, a business begun by his father in 1909 and continued by several brothers, nephews, and great-nephews in addition to himself. He enjoyed a lengthy work span of 69 years, until his retirement as Chairman of the Board and move to Milwaukee in 2016.
